July 30, 2025 - Mixer and Vendor Fair at the Lafayette Veterans Memorial Center

THANK YOU TO OUR VENDORS

What Vendors said about their July 2025 Mixer & Vendor experience:

Charles Brown III – Workforce Development Board of Contra Costa County
~ On behalf of the Workforce Development Board of Contra Costa County (WDBCCC), we enjoyed showcasing the business programs and services we offer to the Contra Costa business and non-profit community. We also made good connections with other exhibitors. The Lafayette Chamber Mixer & Vendor Fair was a very well-organized and overall successful event! I hope this helps. Thanks for having the WDBCCC as a sponsor and participating exhibitor. Have a great day.

Bill Scanlin – Deer Hill Vineyards  ~ It was a really great event.  Thanks for all of the work you put into it. ~ The event was valuable to me meeting the other vendors and attendees.  Potential business opportunities were discussed and made some great connections. ~ The logistics and communication were superb, and I knew just what to do and how things were going to work. ~ I would definitely be interested in attending a similar event in the future.

Alexandra Gray – Farmor’s Dressing
~ I thought it was all great. Really enjoyed it and I was pretty exhausted after work, and it gave me some good energy 🙂 ~ Are you planning one for the holidays?

Alma Galvin – BBB
~ I had a wonderful time on Wednesday! I was able to connect with some of our members as well as make new connections. Everyone was so easy to talk to you and super nice! I love coming down from Santa Rosa to your events. You and your team did an amazing job with the planning and setup of the event, great job!

Jodi Foucher – Jodi Foucher Photography
~ It was a great event! It was my very first table ever, all the information was helpful for me to feel prepared and know what to expect. ~ Many guests commented that they tried to get a table within a day of the announcement, and it was sold out, so I think it could be bigger! ~ I did feel like I was kinda oddly placed, at the end by an exit door and the flow of traffic somewhat encouraged people to shift to the other side, and I was only by one vendor. So, I would suggest either paying more for “premium locations” or setting it up so that two vendors aren’t to the side alone. There were a few periods where it had quite a lot of traffic, but not by us. But It was still a success, just consideration for next time with layout. ~ I think it’s a great way for me to establish name recognition in our community and would definitely consider doing this once a year! ~ Thank you for hosting, impressive job as always.

Duncan Seibert – Lamorinda Cert
~ We were very happy with the engagement we had at the Mixer & Vendor Fair. We’re currently following up on some contacts we made and feel that the time was well spent. ~ We would look forward to another fair this holiday season.

Monica Nolasco – The Art of CPR
~ Hi, Sara, I wanted to send a brief Thank you to you and your team for an outstanding Mixer and Vendor Fair on July 30, 2025, at the Lafayette Veteran’s Hall. The thoughtfully planned event gave us at The Art of CPR the opportunity to share our services, but more importantly, it allowed visitors to share their CPR success stories us, which affirmed why we do what we do for the community. Throughout the event, the connections we made with everyone who visited our booth were incredibly rewarding. As a provider of CPR services to both the community and healthcare professionals, we left the event feeling confident, supported, and proud of the work we do.  Yours and your team’s dedication and care throughout the event did not go unnoticed. Thank you for making us feel right at home. More importantly, Thank you, for truly caring about your members.

Dear Fellow Members of the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce and Overall Community who attended last Wednesday’s Chamber event,

On behalf of The Park Theater Trust Board of Directors and our design and build team, Bali Construction, Arcsine, and The Shalleck Collaborative, we would like to thank you all for attending the Summer Mixer. The energy and support from everyone was just fantastic, and so gratifying. We are grateful to each of you and to the Chamber for all the kind words and genuine interest in our plans. We know Jaimi and Adam of CinemaSF felt very welcome.

Please stay in touch with our progress through our website parktheatertrust.org. We also hope you will consider attending the Shawn Raiford Park Theater benefit dinner concert hosted by The Hideout Kitchen on October 5. Please remember space is very limited so be sure to buy your tickets soon (also through our website). And remember the challenge match of $350,000! Every dollar will be matched up until December 31, 2022. The success of this generous effort will have a huge impact on moving this renovation forward.

Thank you again, and enjoy the rest of your summer. We will see you at Art & Wine, September 17 & 18!

Warm regards,
Kathy and Tracey

“We are very impressed with your Chamber. We have been members of other Chambers over the years and it’s been nothing like the experiences we’re having right out of the gate with your organization. Thank you for your great communication, follow up, and professionalism.”
– Peter Dewey, Bayview Painting

“I couldn’t have asked for a better resource than the Chamber, as I was establishing my medical practice in Lafayette. AJ, Holly, and Sara were so responsive to my questions and gave me many ideas on networking in the community. They host several events that foster community building. I honestly cannot imagine a more robust, active, and friendly chamber as this. I’m a member for life!”
– Cheruba Prabakar, Lamorinda Gynecology & Surgery

“WE LOVE THE CHAMBER! Batch and Brine has been a member of the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce for almost six years. We value and appreciate the incredible amount of work this organization produces for our community through many events and support for each business. The networking and education of information that’s spilled out weekly for the business community is impressive. They are a helping hand in so many ways for our business community and beyond. We couldn’t be part of this community without being part of the chamber. Lafayette Chamber is one of the best organizations we’ve worked with, so don’t think twice about it, join the Chamber!” – Rolla Ghaben, Batch & Brine

“The Chamber was instrumental in helping us open 14 years ago. The staff went out of their way to help us make connections and ensure we were successful. We would not be where we are today without the Chamber!”
– John & Colleen McCormick, Lamorinda Music
