A Mixer Thank You!
The Lafayette Chamber and Lafayette Social would like to thank all the members who attended our first in-person mixer of the year at the beautiful host location Pillar Cowork & Pillar Kids Childcare on Wednesday, March 23, 2022!
We are thrilled to announce that thanks to the many generous donations to the event and to the raffle, and the matching funds from the Lafayette Community Foundation the event raised $3,620 for the Cancer Support Community!
Thank you to all our board members and ambassadors who greeted the guests and staffed the bar. Thank you to the wonderful Cancer Support Community chef, Lola’s Sweet Treats and Tosi Superbites for the savory and sweet appetizers. Entertainment of the night included a CSC Drum Circle and music from Daniel Ray Hilsinger. We sampled wine thanks to Deer Hill Vineyards. The Chamber bar sold Headlands Brewing Company beer, Deer Hill Vineyards wines, and non-alcoholic beverages (sodas and sparkling water) from Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling and Joe Dougherty.
The event was photographed by Craig Isaacs, BlueGoo Photography. View photos here. Craig is asking that if you would like to download the images please make a donation to the Cancer Support Community in the amount of $25 per image. Photo credit: @craigi.

Lafayette Chamber Holiday Mixer honoring the history of the Lafayette Improvement Association (LIA) and the Town Hall Theatre
On Tuesday night, December 7, 2021 the Lafayette Chamber was honored to host our Holiday Mixer at Town Hall Theatre. This was not only our holiday mixer but a very special celebration honoring the history of the Lafayette Improvement Association (LIA) and the Town Hall Theatre. The key was literally passed from LIA to Town Hall Theatre! Watch and see at https://youtu.be/908YG9D1-jQ!
We thank Master of Ceremonies, John McCormick, Lafayette Chamber Board President and co-owner of Lamorinda Music for the wonderful introductions. We had presentations by Former President of the Board of the Town Hall Theatre Company Dennis Erokan, City of Lafayette Mayor Susan Candell, Lafayette Historical Society‘s Mary McCosker, Lafayette Improvement Association’s Board President Clyde Long and Town Hall Theatre Board President Gretchen Lee Salter.
The Ribbon Cutting was held on the stage orchestrated by Town Hall Theatre Managing Director Dennis Markam and Town Hall Theatre Board President Gretchen Lee Salter.
This special celebration included the speeches, a ribbon cutting, live piano music by John Kiskaddon co-owner of Harper Greer, food provided by Diablo Foods, Round Table Pizza Lafayette, Local Kitchens, and Batch and Brine, no host bar that supported the Town Hall Theatre and quite a lot of history!
Watch the video all the way to end to see and hear the holiday musical finale by John Kiskaddon co-owner of Harper Greer on the piano.
Thank you, Town Hall Theatre, for sharing your special night with us! View photos from the night here.
