Moraga Valley Presbyterian ChurchEaster Sunday Services: April 17 9am and 10:30am

Come join us at one of our two Sunday Easter Services at MVPC. There will be fun activities for the kids to teach them about the true meaning of Easter. MVPC also live streams our services and records them in case you miss the service.

MVPC’s Food Pantry is up and running serving and benefiting our Lamorinda community and local families who are in need.  The food pantry is open every Wednesday from 5-6:30PM located downstairs in rooms 201 and 202 near the Family Ministries Office.

Thanks to the generosity of MVPC families, our food pantry is abundant with non-perishables, such as pasta, rice, beans, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, mac and cheese, flour, sugar, cereal, jelly, canned beans, soup, chili, tuna, vegetables.  Please continue to drop off your food pantry donations in a box outside the Church Office. If you can, please buy multiples of the same item.

Spread the word to your community. Consider picking up food for families in need if they are not able to come.

For more information or if you are interested in helping with this local Missions project, please contact Renie Gannett at rgannett@mvpctoday.org or Rosalind Bassett at rbassett@mvpctoday.org.

We’ll have a traditional in-person (and live-streamed) Good Friday service at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary. Scripture readings will include Psalm 22 (which some say is a remarkable foreshadowing of Jesus’ crucifixion) and the crucifixion story from John’s Gospel. Hymns will include old (Were You There?) and new (When Pain of the World Surrounds Us, sung after a prayer for Ukraine). Join us for a service that makes Easter even brighter!

Easter Services, Two Services: Sunday, April 17th 9:30 and 11:00 a.m., in-person in the sanctuary and streamed/available for later viewing.

“We are very impressed with your Chamber. We have been members of other Chambers over the years and it’s been nothing like the experiences we’re having right out of the gate with your organization. Thank you for your great communication, follow up, and professionalism.”
– Peter Dewey, Bayview Painting

“I couldn’t have asked for a better resource than the Chamber, as I was establishing my medical practice in Lafayette. AJ, Holly, and Sara were so responsive to my questions and gave me many ideas on networking in the community. They host several events that foster community building. I honestly cannot imagine a more robust, active, and friendly chamber as this. I’m a member for life!”
– Cheruba Prabakar, Lamorinda Gynecology & Surgery

“WE LOVE THE CHAMBER! Batch and Brine has been a member of the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce for almost six years. We value and appreciate the incredible amount of work this organization produces for our community through many events and support for each business. The networking and education of information that’s spilled out weekly for the business community is impressive. They are a helping hand in so many ways for our business community and beyond. We couldn’t be part of this community without being part of the chamber. Lafayette Chamber is one of the best organizations we’ve worked with, so don’t think twice about it, join the Chamber!” – Rolla Ghaben, Batch & Brine

“The Chamber was instrumental in helping us open 14 years ago. The staff went out of their way to help us make connections and ensure we were successful. We would not be where we are today without the Chamber!”
– John & Colleen McCormick, Lamorinda Music
