Artisan Walk May 11 2024NEW for 2024: Downtown Lafayette Artisan Walk

Saturday, May 11, 2024, 1pm-4pm

Walk through downtown with family & friends, shop local, support local! The Lafayette Chamber’s Retail sub-committee is excited to announce and promote Lafayette’s local businesses and local artists with this exciting new event, Artisan Walk, on May 11, 1pm-4pm, the day before Mother’s Day. Businesses throughout Lafayette will be showcasing local artisan items – perfect gifts for upcoming occasions – Mother’s Day, Graduation, Father’s Day.

Lafayette’s Favorite Dinner Party – The “Taste of Lafayette” Restaurant Stroll!  Friends, Food & Entertainment – 20+ Participating Restaurants. The “stroll” begins when ticket holders head out at their own pace with friends to stop at any or all of the participating restaurants for sampling. Evening includes music and supports the Community Foundation of Lafayette.

Lafayette Art & Wine FestivalLafayette Art & Wine Festival 2024 - Sept. 21 & 22

Saturday, September 21, 2024, 10am-7pm & Sunday, September 22, 2024, 10am-6pm

The Chamber’s signature event, the Lafayette Art & Wine Festival, will be held September 21 & 22, 2024. It is perhaps the largest weekend event in Contra Costa County. Over 65,000 visitors attend, strolling among the art and handmade crafts, sampling foods from top local restaurants, and enjoying quality wines and microbrews. Non-stop musical entertainment on four stages throughout the weekend helps spark the block party ambiance. The “Premier Pavilion” offers tastes of some of the world’s finest wines including wines from our own Lamorinda Wine Growers. Lafayette Res Run for EducationLafayette Res Run for Education

Sunday, October 20, 2024, 8am-8:15am-8:45am

The Lafayette Chamber and the City of Lafayette are co-sponsors of the Lafayette Res Run for Education which is traditionally held on a Sunday in October. In 2023 the Chamber delivered over $48,219.71 in beneficiary checks to our local public schools as a result of this highly successful community event.

October 25, 2019 - Trick or Treat StreetTrick or Treat Street

Friday, October 25, 2024, 4pm-6pm

For a fun, safe Halloween event, children and their parents are invited to Trick-or-Treat at participating merchants along Mt. Diablo Blvd. from Lafayette Plaza to Dewing Ave, Lafayette Circle and La Fiesta Square. This free community event is typically the Friday evening prior to Halloween.

It’s A Wonderful Life in Lafayette

Sunday, December 8, 2024, 4pm-6pm

This fun and festive event includes a free visit with Santa, free train rides on the Lafayette Express, official holiday tree lighting ceremony, one-of-a-kind photo ops, live musical entertainment, crafts, holiday treats and more! Arrive early to see Santa’s arrival and plan to stay in downtown Lafayette for dinner! This is a free community event sponsored by the Dana Green Team and Branagh Development.
